MATA currently operates a 55 vehicle fleet, consisting of 3 types of bikes. Two of them, the Huffy USA Eagle 18 speed, and the Trek 810 Singletrack 21 speed, are wheelchair accessible. The recent addition to the fleet, the Smart Mounticar 15 speed, is not wheelchair accessible, however, it provides more passenger capacity and was needed to expand the fleet. The Trek 810 Singletrack remains the backbone of the fleet. Currently, there are 30 Trek Bikes, 10 Huffy Bikes, and 15 Smart Bikes. During peak hours, around 46 of the bikes are in operation. During non-peak hours, a maximum of 34 are in operation. During weekends and summer routes, about 27 are in operation. All bikes are stored in the Long Garage, adjacent to the Central Transit Station.
